Love your work Paul...of course I would love to "win" one of your paintings...that way one day I can say "I knew him when...."

    Paul Berryhill

Artist Paul Berryhill has always loved viewing nature’s beautiful landscapes which surround his home in Glengary, West Virginia. In 2004, he combined this intrigue with a natural love for art and began a serious journey of becoming an artist.

Paul especially loves to paint the rural buildings, their surroundings and their equipment as he depicts the rural way of life. Viewers also see many water scenes as he has been inspired by his aunt, artist Ann Stafford of Carrollton, Virginia. She has taught him much about art and guides his education.

Workshops with J. Robert Burnell, an award-winning and honored artist of the Chesapeake Bay area, has had a profound effect on Paul’s subject matter and techniques. Several times a year, Paul takes a workshop with artist J. Robert Burnell and cherishes every moment of it.

. A big part of Paul’s art is advocacy for all art in West Virginia’s Eastern Panhandle. He was president of ArtBerkeley, a local 501-3C non-profit organization dedicated to supporting local artists and expanding awareness of the arts in Berkley County. He is a member of and participates in shows with the Baltimore Water Color Socitey, Potomac River Artists Guild, ArtBerkeley, and many other festivals.
